one good thing to come from 2020 was the scrapping of the tampon tax, which as of the 1st January is officially no more. the tampon tax previously saw a rate of 5% VAT added to all period products, and were deemed a 'luxury item'... whilst items such as jaffa cakes and BLIMPS were left VAT free. go figure. 😶

we are over the bloody moon to see the end of this sexist tax, and we hope 2021 brings more period conversations to the forefront so we can smash social stigmas and continue changing the way people who bleed experience their periods. [oh, and don't forget, we ALWAYS absorbed that terrible tax for you so you never had to pay it whilst using ohne products. we got you.] 🌟
