happy (ohne) pride. here’s your semi-regular friendly reminder that using inclusive language makes the world and the space we create within it safer and more accessible for everyone. at ohne, we’re passionately committed to using inclusive language (such as ‘people who bleed’) because it’s imperative that we make space in the period world for everyone who experiences a menstrual cycle. we’d love it if you’d practise using inclusive language in your own lives - even if you don’t think you have any trans people in your life, it’s great to get into the habit of using they/them pronouns when referring to a person whose gender you’re not sure of, to practise saying ‘people’ or ‘folks’ instead of ‘men and women’ or ‘ladies and gentlemen’ and it’s just *more accurate* to say ‘people who have periods’ instead of ‘women’! it’s never too late to learn something new ✨🧡 🏳️🌈
