Today marks the anniversary of the Representation of the People Act, which gave women over the age of 30 the right to vote thanks to the trailblazing efforts of the Suffragettes. Let’s celebrate this, but let’s also remember the importance of celebrating brilliant women every day. With the same fire and courage as our female predecessors let’s celebrate by pushing now for the rights of ALL women: black, working class, disabled, trans, lesbian, sex workers, EVERYONE.
