At ohne (pronounced "on") our goal is simple: to redefine period underwear and create products that you'll actually want to wear. We were tired of the synthetic-filled period products that perpetuated shame around menstruation and the societal stigmas we've grown up with. In 2018, our co-founders Nikki and Leah, best friends since university, launched ohne. We started by offering organic, plastic-free tampons and pads, and developed a thriving community platform where people share stories and gain knowledge about their bodies. But we didn't stop there.

After 18 months of extensive research, testing, and product development, we proudly introduced our hero product - period underwear - in 2021. Our goal was simple: to create extraordinarily comfortable, stylish, and secure underwear. And boy, did our period underwear deliver! Instantly embraced by our community and even the UK press, we proved that period underwear doesn't have to be boring. We wanted ohne to reflect the diverse needs of our community, which is why we've expanded our offerings beyond period underwear. Our website now features a wellness cabinet where you can find period, sex, and wellness products from other mission-led brands.

As a proud certified B-Corp, we are committed to doing better. We donate 1% of our revenue to social causes and actively work to combat period poverty, reduce plastic waste in menstrual care products, and challenge societal stigma.
