Every summer, I look forward to harvesting our lavender like it’s a sacred ritual. Years ago, I used these very blossoms in our Lip Doctor and Salt Bath—tiny batches, all crafted by hand. But as Osmia grew, our production outpaced my harvests, and we began sourcing lavender from trusted suppliers that meet our sky-high standards. Now, I keep this purple harvest for small-batch passion projects (and the joy of sticking my face in a giant, fragrant tub of flowers).
I also love how spending time with this plant reminds me why I started Osmia—to stay close to the earth, and to share the healing power of the natural world. The ingredients we choose aren’t just clean for the sake of a label. They’re beautiful, and brimming with complex chemistry that supports the skin and spirit in ways no synthetic can replicate.
