Even though it’s a few hours late, here is my (new) favorite #sewing tool: my brothersews 3034D serger! It’s flanked by my second favorite tool, my ottlite_official.

Fun fact: I received this serger for free from Brother when I purchased my Innov-‘s2500D back in 2007, and it sat in the box for more than 10 years. I was so intimidated by trying to learn a new tool, and didn’t realize until last summer what a treasure I had going to waste. So I pulled it out, determined to make the most of it. It literally took a 10-minute YouTube video for me to learn how to thread it, and ever since, I’ve been adding to my repertoire of serging skills. It saves time, allows me to #sew knits easily, and creates more “ready to wear” professional looking seams.
