The ocean is one of the most awe-inspiring sights our eyes enable us to see. And it's so much more than water.
Did you know that the ocean supplies more than half of the oxygen we breathe? That oxygen comes from marine photosynthesizers, like phytoplankton and seaweed. They use carbon dioxide, water and energy from the sun to make food for themselves, releasing oxygen for us in the process.
