“I met Miss Maya back in 2016 through mutual friends. the 1st time we really got to bond was when she needed her hair braided for an event, and I was like sis I gotchu and the rest was herstory,” explains Zenobia. “I just remember feeling so seen at a time when that wasn’t super common for me, and was like wow, I think this is my sister.”
