The more places I am truly blessed enough to discover (thank you best job in the world), the more I absolutely cherish the diverse, rich, puzzling and unique aspects of every culture that our tiny planet earth has allowed us to build over the last couple of 1000 years. Maybe it's because I watched 5th element the other night and am feeling particularly leeloo/fragile about the state of the human race right now, but it is just incomprehensible to me that we continually seek to destroy both what we've created, and inherited on this earth. Diversity is what makes us. Whether religion, gender, who and what you want to wake up next to...each to their own. It's pretty simple really - smile, say thank you, be grateful, and just don't hurt anyone.
