BASKETBALL: New Zealand's 'Tall Blacks' took on the Dominican Republic in a FIBA World Cup Match on Sunday, with both teams playing for their first win of the competition. Despite the Tall Blacks performing the Haka (a traditional Maori dance intended to intimidate the opposition) prior to the game, they were eventually defeated by the Dominican Republic with a final score of 76-63.
