NATO SUMMIT: US President Barack Obama and UK Prime Minister David Cameron paid a visit to a primary school in Newport today en route to the NATO summit in the town. Most schools in the town are closed for the two days of the summit, but Mount Pleasant remained open after a school governor, Stephen Bowen, wrote to the US embassy requesting a visit by the president.
