VATICAN: Pope Francis met with two prominent Middle Eastern leaders in the Vatican on Thursday; former Israeli President Shimon Peres and Jordan’s Prince El Hassan bin Talal. Vatican Radio - English Section reported that both men discussed their plans for promoting peace in the region in two separate private audiences with the Pope.
