You know what I love? Fonts.
Fonts might even be the most important part of the packaging design process.
It's right up there with naming the pens themselves. It's important! Since you can't see the pens in the gift box, the font is the introduction to the collection.
For Ladylike, the font is called "Intro Script" and it just looks like cute little chubby ladybugs. Sort of cartoony but it also feels like...movement.
Like a ladybug bee-bopping along a little ladybug trail.
For @einsteinpaperco, I went with a branding specialist. She suggested this first, I said "I'm not feeling it," she made a few more options, and then I was said, "Oh, no, you're right, the first one was the best, I'm sorry I ever doubted you"
(I'm the girl in the military that always changed the font in my emails from Calibri to Book Antiqua to Georgia to Open Sans. Super annoying, I know 🙃😅 I never used Comic Sans, though, I promise!)
