HOW TO CARE FOR KEGEL WEIGHTS⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Anything you’re using inside your vagina -- whether it’s Kegel weights or a menstrual cup -- should be clean and sterilized to prevent any bacteria from passing into the vagina. Wash your weights with a pH-balanced cleanser after each use. Our Pixie Cup Wash is perfect for this! It’s made from 100% all-natural plant-based ingredients and is safe for your weights and anything else that comes into contact with your genital region. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Just as you do with your menstrual cup, you will want to sterilize the weights before and after each use. There are several ways to do this. Which method you use just boils down to personal preference (see what I did there?)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ BOILING: To boil your Kegal weights, we recommend that you bring water to a complete boil and then remove it from the heat. Place your weight/weights in the water and allow to sit for 5 minutes in the boiling water without touching the bottom or sides of the pan (a slotted spoon or whist works well to keep your weight off the bottom of the pan.) After soaking for five minutes, carefully remove your weights and allow to air dry. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ STEAM: If you've been hanging out with us for long you may already have a Pixie Cup Steamer. Well, guess what? These little powerhouses of sanitation will be perfect for your new Kegel Weight set as well! Just place your weight on the platform, close the lid, and push the blue button. Voila! Your weights will be clean in about three minutes (8-10 if you are using our spa)! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ UV STERILIZATION: Another option for sterilizing your Kegel Weights is our brand-new UV sterilizer! The UV-C light safely kills Staph, Salmonella, E. coli, flu & other common germs, and is safe for medical-grade silicone!
