In honor of #periodactionday we want to share a few facts. Did you know that 1 in 5 girls in the U.S. has had to miss school or leave school early due to a lack of access to menstrual products? How about #educationforall ? 36 percent of U.S. women surveyed said they had missed work because they did not have access to period products. #endthestigma In the U.S., 1 in 5 women struggle to afford menstrual products every month. Forty-six percent of low-income women in the U.S. have had to choose between a meal or buying period products.  #endperiodpoverty One in four people between the ages of 13 and 35 reported that it has been harder to manage their periods since the start of the pandemic. Fifty-eight percent of participants stated that they had less money to spend on menstrual products due to the COVID pandemic, and 50 percent reported that it has been harder to access menstrual products. #periodsdontstopforpandemics On any given day, 800 million people in the world are menstruating.
