It’s hard to see all the weight I’ve gained, to watch as it all giggles around showing every roll, every dimple, stretch mark and cellulite I have. The advocate in me wants to lie and say how empowering this and it is, but that doesn’t meant I don’t have the same struggles as everyone else with my body image. Not everyday do I wake up loving my body, some days are extremely hard and posting this video is one of them. So why do I do? Because all those reasons above are why it’s crucial that I do! If I feel this insecure about my body than how do others feel? Society has embedded that thin= beautiful and worthy. This isn’t obviously true, but we need to keep advocating to remind ourselves and others of this! .

Also, I do get scared knowing people in past and present get to see me completely vulnerable like this, I’m scared of the judgement, of the fatphobia, of the ridicule, but I know sharing this video is more important than all of that!
