🌏 Like everyone, we've been rocked by the recent terrible events happening in the world around us. From the unimaginable horror unfolding in Ukraine, to the loss of lives, homes and livelihoods in Queensland and New South Wales.
In times of crisis, Australians rally. And for our part, we are pledging 15% of sales this week to Foodbank's Queensland Flood Appeal. @foodbankqld are working to get essential food and clean water to Queensland communities worst affected by the floods.
Over 15,000 homes are estimated to have flooded in Brisbane alone, and thousands have been evacuated and lost everything. Funds raised will cover the cost of food, water, and freight to the hardest hit regions around Queensland in the coming weeks. Currently these areas include Gympie, Maryborough, Gatton, Laidley, Logan, Gold Coast, Nanango and Ipswich.
Monies raised will also supply essential groceries and water, reducing hunger and removing a major stress for families. It’s a small contribution to a world in crisis, but every little bit helps.
