๐ง๐ญ Wondering why your nut mylk looks like a stunning geological cross section? ๐ชจ Or perhaps pondering as to why it looks a little curdled, or why your colourful #coldpressedjuice has separated?
๐ค WELL, because our juices are raw and donโt have any preservatives, gums or other binding agents that youโll find in a supermarket juice, the denser ingredients in the juice will naturally separate and settle at the bottom of the jar while the lower density liquid rises to the top.
๐
Fear not, this is completely normal for raw juices โ just give the jar a good shake before opening and the juice will remix perfectly. ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ VOILA!
The same goes for our almond milks โ there are none of the gums, thickeners or emulsifier that you find in supermarket brands so the natural ingredients separate and may settle or float. Whilst it can look a little like curdled milk, it does not mean that itโs spoiled (itโs actually a sign of a fresh and natural product). ๐๐ป All it needs is a good shake and shimmy to recombine the ingredients. ๐๐บ๐ป
Oh, and while weโve got our. Itโs also nifty to know ๐๐ป our almond milks are 18% almonds.
Compare this to most supermarket brands which are <3% almonds, with mostly water and any combination of vegetable gums, starches, oils, acidity regulators, emulsifiers, stabilisers, thickeners. In other words, packed with allergens and inflammatory ingredients.
So yeah, in short ๐ sedimentโs all good. AS YOU WERE FOLKS, as you were. ๐ค๐๐งก #inspiredbynature #pressedearth #coldpressed
