Wondering why your juice separates, or why our nut milk on the supermarket fridge shelf looks a little layered? ๐คท๐ฝ
Firstly, cease that stressing, itโs A-OK! ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐
Because our juices are raw and donโt have any preservatives, gums or other binding agents ๐
๐ผโโ๏ธ that youโll find in a supermarket juice, the denser ingredients in the juice will naturally separate and settle at the bottom of the jar while the lower density liquid rises to the top.
This is completely normal for raw juices โ just give the jar a good shake before opening and the juice will remix perfectly.
The same goes for our almond milks โ there are none of the thickeners or emulsifiers, so the natural ingredients separate and may settle or float. โ๏ธ Whilst it can look a little like curdled milk, it does not mean that itโs spoiled (itโs actually a sign of a fresh and natural product!)
It just needs a good olโ shake. ๐ค๐ป
