When will this American Dream be an equal road for all of us? 400 years of systematic oppression and discrimination. Enough is enough. We have all seen the horrors and can no longer turn a blind eye. The very people that fight for this country are not free. Not free to go for a jog, not free to bird watch, not free at home, not free to breathe. This community has had enough. Please know we have had enough too. And it’s our fault. This is on us. For all of us non-blacks to fight racism in our homes, in our circles. To do it for all of our black friends, families, our mentors, our hero’s, our idols. This means action now - speaking up, reading up and conversations with our circles, supporting this fight through petitions/donations, supporting black businesses, designers, artists and communities. We hear you and we support you. I hope 2020 will be the catalyst for change you have long been waiting for.
