I was so honored ( and excited! ) when my dear friend @melissasoldera asked me to design a pendant to celebrate her bond with her daughter Luca. She wanted something that signified motherhood and represented them in a way that was coy - not everyone she met would know the significance.
So the overlapping discs for that bond, that forever connectedness.. the centered birthstones; the larger Alexandrite for Melissa and the Emerald for Luca - and 11 Stones total. This was important for me. 11 the spiritual number representing a higher power and our inner teacher. What represents mothers more? Along the journey we do nothing and have to trust our bodies to create this life and then are handed this baby and it’s our job to teach them everything. It’s overwhelming and so special and I knew 11 had to be in there.
