Ironman Vineman was the Race of my Dreams! 🍇🏊🏻🚴🏻🏃🏻🍇 I have been wishing and wanting and working for this dream for years. I can not believe it finally happened yesterday! I am an IRONMAN!!! I knew I was capable of this for a while but timing had to be right and Vineman delivered. What an awesome experience! It was the race of my dreams but not because it was easy. It was so hard. I have been a triathlete for years now but the elusive IRONMAN had not been completed. I knew the distance would challenge me more than anything I had ever done but I knew I could do it. I trained well and I was prepared. 💪🏻 I had some highs and lows during the race as expected (a small technical issue in the bike and tummy issues on the back half of the run, I'll put in a full race report soon) but I finished this dang hard, hilly and hot course! I cried on the course several times because I knew that all of the hours, days, weeks, months and years of hard work we're going to pay out today. I thought I would cry at the finish and I just couldn't stop smiling. 😄 Pure happiness. One of the best moments of my life and one I will never forget. Thank you so much for the support and comments and well wishes. They meant so much to me!! My heart is so full! ❤️ Thank you for following my journey to IRONMAN. I hope to inspire anyone that has a goal. Now it's your turn.... What's your goal? What's your dream? Go do it!! ✨❤️ ___________________
