Everyone says it will get better, but it’s hard to imagine or even hear when you’re in the first few weeks. The worst is being told just make it to 4 months. My brain panics because we were barely at 1 month. How can I possibly survive till 4?!
We are far from a schedule and I personally still have a long way to go. But Lilian has captured my heart this last week and I feel more myself to be the mom I want to be for her.
