She decided to wean herself as I clawed on to my last month of breastfeeding her. I guess she wanted to make it easier on me..

I am so thankful she let me have my year of moments with her. Our time to bond and connect. I am thankful my body allowed me the ability to do so. I will forever be proud of being able to breastfeed her for a year, and I know this won’t be the last one of these moments I cling on to for dear life. Stop growing up, my love. Mama’s heart can’t hang."
