@alexiskristiana👉Learning to love my post breastfeeding boobs was hard. We’re gifted with so much beauty as women. The beauty of creating and carrying life, then being able to nourish that life from our bodies- it’s all just so beautiful. ~ But these magical things we’re able to do leave us changed. You won’t have the body you had before you became a mother, and that’s okay- because that body didn’t know sacrifice, pain and love the way your body knows now. ~ One thing I struggled with was the way breastfeeding changed my breasts. I always imagined them remaining the way they were before. Before they did endless work nourishing a life. ~ Zion developed a breast preference during our journey, and that left my neglected breast to dip in supply and eventually be uneven. I tried to get it back, but I just wasn’t able to. We’re still breastfeeding at 13 months will no plans of stopping yet. ~ So I decided that although my breasts are unfamiliar to me right now, I know one day they won’t be. Just like one day they’ll be engorged & painful again with my next newborn- and the cycle will just start all over. ~ It’s appreciating, respecting & honoring the changes our bodies go through as mama’s-over & over again. In the end don’t you think we come out even more beautiful than before?" Alexis is wearing our Anti Scoop Bra
