Celebrating our B.F.F. Belly Wrap on #NationalBFFDay! 👯⠀

@sarahaleyfit👉" I do NOT recommend exercising too soon after having a baby, I DO recommend wearing a belly wrap as soon as possible after delivery. Why? It can help your belly go down faster, provide back support, and gently help bring your abdominals together until you’re able to activate those muscles on their own (i.e. help make a pending diastasis recti worse or perhaps even prevent one).⠀

Belly wraps are most effective worn the first 6-8 weeks #postpartum. I wore one in my recoveries from baby #2 & #3 and boy did I see and feel a difference! The recommendation is to wear it as often as you can, but my advice is to just do what feels right. After having Liam I remember not being able to sleep well with a belly wrap on at night, so I just wore it during the day, and with Kiera it was the opposite and only really wore it at night. You know my philosophy - something is always better than nothing.

And if you’re feeling anxious about not exercising in those first few weeks, this belly wrap can help with your belly, waist and hips slimming down. Moreover, I really like the fact that it helps support your core muscles when you can’t yet feel or activate them yourself."⠀
