I shared my most recent postpartum recovery on @ourfitfamilylife and I have to admit that my corsets were a huge help regaining my pre-baby tummy! This one is basically a compression girdle that takes advantage of the hormones in your system postpartum (relaxin) and works with your body’s natural process of recovery. ➡️After giving birth our body still has excess fluid trapped in our abdominal tissue. A compression girdle can help squeeze that fluid out of the tissue, and help draw in our stretched abdominal muscles.
I started wearing a belly strap a few days after Noa's birth - the "2 in 1 Bandit" and the Upsie Belly from @bellybandit . Once my stomach was flatter, I started using the Mother Tucker corset. It reminded me to focus on my posture during the day. Remember to set it so it never squish your organs, your don’t want to increase pressure on your weak pelvic floor. Within a few days I started seeing results and I saw a decrease in the soft belly tissue right away!
Just a reminder: don’t use your corset to keep you up right 😉 That’s your back and abdominal muscles job!
