It was my birthday @nationalgalleryaus - Capricorn - feeling a bit old & stiff after not teaching yoga for over two years & sitting on a chair looking at a computer screen! So bad for you I’m sure plus the hours get sucked away! I’m thinking about my life up until know and how I can use my 28 yrs in the fashion industry in positive ways. My plans for this year are pretty big, send your good vibes my way as I step into a huge year for ethical & sustainable fashion & a huge passion for reducing waste & pollution in our home, production & plastic usage! Not quiet sure how this will all pan out but I am excited! I’ve been standing on my soap box for over 12 years now screaming out about what’s happening in our industry and to our planet. Finally there’s been a huge shift since we started Pure Pod with a global movement and lots of inspiring people doing amazing things in the ethical fashion revolution. I think we need to stand together and support each other and teach new people coming into our industry better ways to design, produce, protect planet & people in fashion and reduce waste. We stand stronger together and can make bigger changes to benefit everyone. I haven’t made millions of dollars doing what I do but I’ve lived a big life for what I believe in - sometimes really hard, fun, creative, inspiring & passionate. I want to make a difference for my daughter & the next generation of kids. I want to be part of the solution not part of the problem. Social media is a weird space but it can also be a great way to inspire others to make positive changes for our environment & human kind!
