When we were putting together the Workwear collection, we knew we needed flannels that could actually be used. Shirts that could layer over cargos, fit under a jacket, and still feel solid enough to handle a cold New York day.
Heavy cotton, structured collars, chest pockets, and buttoned sleeves were all part of making them work practically.
We tested patterns and colors in the studio until they felt right. Watching the team and models try them on, roll sleeves, and layer them, it became obvious which pieces would work in real life. They are not flashy, but you can feel the care in the hand-feel & construction, they just sat right. These flannels are practical, durable, working in, and a part of a collection built for Fall in the city.
It was important to make sure they could be styled multiple ways. The buttoned sleeves give flexibility, the collars provide formality, and the chest pockets make them feel functional. These are pieces that work alone or layered, ready for long days outside in the city or casual moments indoors.
Seeing the flannels in action on set showed how they naturally fit on a human subject not just a rendition on a mannequin. They are design forward, but they carry the same care and attention as every other piece in the drop, making them essential for everyday wear & functionality.
