Eighteen years ago this August, the incredible Hawke’s Bay mother and daughter duo, Audrey McHardy and Rebecca Kain founded Redcurrent. Today, there are twelve Redcurrent stores across New Zealand along with a successful website which project the Redcurrent philosophy of making everyday life beautiful. The business is still owned and operated in New Zealand by these unstoppable women who work hard to ensure that while growing the company they maintain the spirit of a family business and are determined to stay away from a cookie cutter approach when designing and purchasing product each season.
