Next, here’s a little about me. I’m Antonia, that accent that I was nervous to share initially yet you all seem to enjoy so much is from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹, my first love. My second and current home is Toronto, Canada. 🇨🇦
At almost 42 I’ve done some pivoting in my time.
First at 26, changing course when, unplanned, I realized I was going to be a mom.
Then at 29 when I realized my second born had some developmental differences.
I went from full speed ahead,
To maybe I’ll slow down cause my priorities have changed.
From a carefree 20 something
To a mom with a whole heap of responsibilities.
And that kinda changes….everything.
I went from employed, as a fashion buyer.
To self employed, as a boutique owner.
To unemployed… cause we left everything behind to come to Canada to give my son everything he deserved.
Unemployed.
So I pivoted again.
Into social media.
That lead to a tv gig 💁🏽♀️
And a whole new life.
That I built.
I’m kinda proud of that. 🫶🏽
