"Four years ago I entered the rockiest stage of my career. I lost a sprint finish to Andy Potts at Oceanside. I won my 3rd consecutive Wildflower, but broke my foot in the process. Six weeks later my son was born. Eight months after that, I still couldn't run, and thought my career was over. I remember those crazy highs and crazy lows and the anxiety I faced while living them all. Time feels endless in the present, and incredibly short in the past. The worry seems silly in hindsight. Time finds a way to work things out. When I face similar challenges today, I force myself to remember the ones I've faced before, how big they felt in the moment, and how small they feel in memory. I'm excited and maybe a little nervous for what the next four years will bring. I hope to be managing Picky Bars full time and spending my athletic energy chasing around my son rather than chasing down guys who beat me out of the water!" - 2x Ironman champion, Jesse Thomas. #FindFaster #ROKA4 #ROKAPhantom
