"Four years ago I was finishing up my rookie year as a professional full distance #triathlete. With the time constraints of having two young kids I knew being successful in #triathlon was going to be a major challenge. Although the last four years have brought me many highs, I have also experienced my share of low points as well - getting the stomach flu while racing on the other side of the world, and being carried off the course at Whistler with hypothermia - but 2016 became my best year ever. I set the course record at the South American Championship in Brazil, and won at #WildflowerTri and #IMWisconsin. Through it all my husband and I have found a way to balance everything and find success in both #racing and #family.
