Reason No. 032 why I love working from home:
I go to make toast to eat at my desk (breakfast around 8:30am MT even though I’ve been up since 5:30am working eastern hours) & smell burning. I think it’s my overeasy egg right when our kitchen smoke detector goes off blaring & shrilling. Great.
zaqattaq leaves his desk & walks in to turn it off cause I can’t reach. I say, “idk what happened, smells like smoke, might be the toaster.” Husband replies, “Oh, thats cause there’s Pop-Tart stuck in there.” I ask why he didn’t tell me and his response is, “I couldn’t get it out and I forgot.” ??♀️? He’s lucky he’s cute. Xo
