Staying genuine is an amazing way to stay connected with the Lord. Even in your messiest of seasons you can still connect- just be real.
I see it all the time where Christians try to be an overly spiritual version of themselves and it actually isn’t a representation of who they are. Look at Jesus, He made an impact out of being genuine. Not by trying to be a higher version of who He truly is.
Being spiritual doesn’t come from trying, it comes from just being the person God made you to be!
When you choose to be genuine- you are choosing to show up fully as yourself. That’s what the world needs. Not some superficial version of you.
The really cool thing about God is that He still loves you even when you aren’t being yourself, when you are learning how to grow, and when you show up as you are. He loves that. He just wants you.
So, show up. Be genuine. Because we need you to be you. #liveauthentic
