These 3 sisters and the little baby kicking inside my belly bring all sorts of emotions out of me I never knew I had. The word mother has never carried such a weight as it has in the past 5 years. The rollercoaster has been the best ride of my life, and I’m excited for what this new decade will show us as a family and me, personally, as a mother. Each child has brought me new growth that I thought was never possible. God has used each little girl to peel back layers I didn’t know were so calloused and thick. I have no expectations for what this next child will bring. Girl or boy. Clingy or self-sufficient. Timid or bold. Full of humor or finds just the exact words to say. I know it’ll be what God wants for our family. And no other gender or personality would do. His timing. His reasoning. His plans. His lessons for me to learn.
