May I not be blinded by my preferences or cling tight to the traditions that I have learned over time so that I may not miss you in the midst of it all. We get so caught up in traditions in life and especially the church and sadly because of those traditions we lack growth, we lack commitment, we lack sharing Jesus with the sick, we get lost in it all because we’re so entangled in our traditions, our preferences. May I daily seek you first before my opinions cloud my judgement. You are wisdom Lord and may my heart be inclined to yours trusting your lead and not my own! .
