Love in the time of COVID-19. These past few months have been a difficult reality for all of us to navigate. Tensions are running high. It’s been tough adjusting to a new reality and saving lives at the expense of a crumbling economy has unfortunately become political and even more divisive. So having an opportunity to photograph proclamations of love and a couple devoting their lives to one another has become even more sacred. It’s become a needed reminder that love triumphs over all. I have to applaud everyone planning to get married in 2020 as you have to face some unprecedented obstacles. Some of my couples have chosen to postpone their celebrations completely, exercising patience and holding out hope that all their loved ones will be able to celebrate their nuptials in person. And other couples have chosen to move forward with much smaller weddings, like David and kinzerbinz . They’re an amazing reminder that intimate weddings are still just as beautiful and big a celebration, choosing each other in a time of sickness and health. No. Matter. What. Wherever you are today in this emotional rollercoaster, I pray hope is taking root and you are extending love. To the other. To those you oppose. To yourself. Okay, I’m getting off my soapbox now. ✌🏻 • • • • #elopement #elope #wedding #intimatewedding #covid19 #covid19wedding #minneapolisweddingphotographer #minnesotaweddingphotographer #minnesotabride #capturedgloryphotography
