Jethro was playfully chasing Zion around the house, but somewhere along the way it started to scare Zion. As a result, Zion would run into the kitchen to find me saying, “I need up!” over and over so that I could lift him into my arms for safety and comfort. ✨ The whole scene played in my mind for the rest of the day as I thought of all the things that chase after me throughout the day to make me fearful, anxious, or despairing. Like Zion running to me, I can run to Jesus and say my own version of “I need up” from Psalm 121:1-2 >> ✨ “I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” ✨ I think this is one reason why we raise our arms upward in worship. It’s a position of trust, hope, and dependency to the ultimate Parent and His loving provision. ✨ My top is called the La Boheme Eyelet Blouse from roolee. 🥰 Have a blessed Sunday, everyone! #sunday #sundayencouragement #faith #roolee #rooleeambassador #yesroolee
