When we were going through leukemia treatments with Tessa, we were overwhelmed by the kindness of family, friends, and complete strangers almost daily. There were many times Rick and I looked at each other and said, "people are so good!" Since then, we've been excited to pay the love and support we felt forward. We have a unique understanding of what other cancer families go through and feel a great responsibility to help where we can. With Tessa being Girl of the Year for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society, we felt like this was an amazing opportunity to partner with this organization who is already doing so much good in the community.
