Yesterday Jack and I were thrown a curve ball when we got to my 20 week anatomy scan. The ultrasound technician asked us if we knew the sex of our baby already, and I had told her that we had taken an at-home early gender test (that boasts a 99% accuracy, mind you). In response, she asks me what the results of that test told us and I told her boy… “It’s a girl.” Jack and I just looked at each other, because despite my husband’s warnings of relying on a gender test instead of leaving it up to professionals, I jumped the gun and had to be stubborn due to my impatient nature of having to know “right now.” To sum up, I’m embarrassed to say the least but I could not be more elated to welcome a 💓💕💝 BABY GIRL 💖💗👶🏼 this November. Moral of the story, your husband is right (sometimes), be patient and don’t take an at home test, and sometimes YOU are the 1%. Blessed that God has given me this gift and has humbled me for it as well. This will make a great story for our DAUGHTER one day 😂😂😅😅 #yesroolee
