This was me leaving for surgery.

Then prepped for surgery.

Then coming home from surgery.
•
I was so nervous about being put under. But I really appreciated my anesthesiologist. He asked me what I would be doing with my day if I were not in surgery. That put me at ease. And then he gave me medicine to relax me. The nurse gave me some oxygen. And I was asleep in no time.

Waking up in recovery. I kept blinking my eyes. They didn't want to open. Was grateful for the nurses for getting me dressed. They said I was brave for wearing white. But that I was wearing the perfect outfit - loose|easy to get on|button up. They also liked that my sneakers had zippers and were easy to put on my feet while still lying down.

Nurses were great. Doctors were great. Hubby has been great!

He drove so carefully home. And he's waited on me with such care and patience and thoughtfulness.

I've only been eating berries. A little bit of granola. And a little bit of dairy free yogurt. Feeling a bit weak. Going to drink some chicken broth next. And some cherry juice a friend dropped off.

Made it upstairs to bed and slept for awhile after surgery. Then made it back downstairs and watched a Tiny Home show. Then back up to bed.

Slept well overall.
•
Have had two strong episodes of nausea where I threw up on an empty stomach. Pretty painful experience. So hubby went and filled my nausea prescription. Gravol didn't cut it for me. That new medication wiped me out and I pretty much slept the morning away.

Just made it carefully downstairs now for a change of scenery.

Loving this dress from roolee.
It's lined. Soft. And I've been living in it since I put it on yesterday morning. Designed by sisters, one of which is Ginger Parrish who also owns the hat store I love gigipip. So grateful to gave it.

Going to watch an Overland Adventure show with hubby.
