𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 + 𝒍𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒐𝒇𝒕𝒆𝒏 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I wrote this sentence at the beginning of my journal a year ago. While writing it I knew how simple both statements were, but how hard they can actually be. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Acting in kindness takes effort, you have to actively control your words and actions especially when your first thought is anything but kind. It means being kind in areas where you don’t feel people deserve it because they’ve wronged you too many times. But loving Jesus and walking with him means being kind in all situations, even when every fiber of your being doesn’t want you to be. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Laughing is simple. But choosing to find something to laugh at each day is intentional and can sometimes be a challenge. Laughter is fuel for the soul and while it may not add physical years to your life, it definitely makes life worth living. So when life is anything but easy, choose kindness and laugh often.
