🌟HOMESCHOOL RECAP WEEK ONE🌟 All about me!
if you’re new here, (WELCOME!🥰) I homeschool with a weekly theme and field trip, and recap it all here for you! #whatberkleylearns
We kicked off this week with an All About Me theme, and here was our breakdown in addition to our regular curriculum:
🔘WHO I AM- we made self portraits and used a flashlight to outline our silhouettes. Then filled it with words that describe us, and positive affirmations!
🔘WHERE I LIVE- we made a craft showing us, our home, address, state, country, continent, and the world! we looked through maps, and talked about different countries and continents across the globe.
🔘WHERE I’M FROM- our family heritage is Dutch and German! We studied the different cultures and characteristics of Germany and the Netherlands, and made these homemade Dutch Stroopwafels!
We had a field trip planned for today, but Juniper is feeling a little under the weather, so we staying home! As always, any theme ideas you have or want to see, let me know!!
