I saw someone the other day post about how motherhood has been a challenge because they are someone who likes to give 100% to everything they do and I've never related to something more. I get so frustrated and overwhelmed because I want to give 100% of my time, effort, and passion into every single thing I do.
This comes up mostly with photography when I have days where Ari doesn't want to nap and Mila wants my full attention but I have emails and editing to do. It's hard because in those moments I know that if I could sit down and give 100% of my time and effort into my business, I would freakin kick butt. Instead, I do the best I can in the moment because that's all I can do!
My priority is being a mama and raising some awesome kids, and part of that is showing them that their mama works hard. Multitasking, finding balance, and creating a strong legacy takes patience and practice and that's what I'm working on! ✨
