My friend & I were talking about how little time we get to spend with our babies. After their first five years, they are off to school & most of their days are spent away from us from then on. Which means for me, I have one more year left of spending every day with Charlee.
I don’t know about you, but I needed that reminder. That no matter how long the days seem to find the energy at the bottom of the tank to play with her, to read with her, to adventure with her, to do the sometimes tedious things that she lives for.
Even though the days may seem long, these years go by so fast & then time starts taking them away from us. So take the day that you need here & there, then give of yourself to your babies.
Hoping this reminder gives some energy to someone else who needed it. 🤍
