One of my absolute favorite coffee shops in the US, marucoffeela, also happens to be AAPI-owned! Maru’s Korean American co-founders took inspiration for their cafe’s name from ‘san ma ru’, the old Korean word for mountaintop. 🏔
Maru roasts their own coffee in LA’s Art District, inside their second location. Their love, respect, & passion for coffee is reflected in the quality of their delicious drinks & offerings.
My favorite drink at Maru is an iced vanilla bean latte, but everything on their menu is amazing! ☕️
