Fun fact: A dog’s pH level ranges from 6.0 to 8.0 depending on the breed. And using shampoo that’s not pH-balanced for dogs can irritate their skin. So make sure the suds you’re using are specially formulated for dogs. Also, don’t be tempted to wash your your pup with your fave human shampoo—it’s about 200x too acidic and definitely *not* the kind of clean we recommend for our four-legged friends.
