While Trump remains in office, I worry about my own safety/security as an “American living abroad” and I also worry about the rights that my husband has/will have as a non-american citizen. Even traveling to the US from the Middle East these days is close to impossible, and I honestly believe that the entire COVID situation could have been handled significantly differently (& by differently I mean *better*) had we had a different president in office. I want to be able to go back to the US and visit my family and friends. I want change in the political system in place.
