It’s not easy to source a 100% organic menu, wherever you are in the world. One of the reasons we shifted away from hosting retreats in Central America was that no matter how hard we worked—and no matter how many suitcases we filled with virgin coconut oil, sprouted nuts and mycotoxin-free coffee—we couldn’t get the food to meet our standards, organic being only one of them.
The last few years of hosting experiences exclusively in private homes in North America have allowed us to present a culinary experience that has exceeded even our own expectations. It wouldn’t be RUNGA without our guests knowing that they can enjoy every dish without wondering about seed oils and organic status. Everything, including our fermented treenut cheeses and raw sprouted desserts, is made in-house and we partner with our favorite local farms for eggs and regenerative meats.
